Despite the lack of published reports, I have actually been having regular monthly meetings with Bonsai the Gardening company we use.
Following a meeting in December, when we discusssed all the outstanding jobs to be done over the winter period, I can now report that most of them have been carried out.
All trees and shrubs have been pruned and the flower beds are continuing to be weeded on a fairly regular (for Spain) basis.
There are still gaps in the hedging that require new shrubs but this is in hand and once winter is over and shrubs are back in the nurseries they will be purchased and planted.
The roses in the raised flower beds by block 5 have been replaced with plants that prefer the Spanish climate!!
The updated irrigation system is in the process of being completed and hopefully will be finalised by the summer.
There was a problem with a broken pipe which flooded the pool house, as a result, the pump has broken. However, the matter is in the hands of the insurance company and will be resolved in time for the better weather.
There has been a problem with one of the shower trays in the pool area which means the water will not drain way. This is going to be resolved.
