The grass area around the pool has had some weed killer applied to remove the clover. More will be used together with fertiliser to ensure the grass is up to scratch for the summer.
The pool is being looked after properly at the moment.
David knows how concerned I am about the tarmac on the right hand side of the pool up near the deep end, where it has dropped. I have this fear of someone stubbing/slicing off their toe or tripping over it and falling in. He says it needs an expert to look at it and will liaise with OCSI and I'm sure we'd all be happier if it were sorted out before the season starts.
Next time I see David I am going to ask him about sorting out the pool gate, it will definitely need further attention again this summer as it's not secure enough. Perhaps we should sink a couple of concrete gate posts into the ground, concrete them in and sort the gate once and for all.
