When you are next pruning your roses or clipping your chrysanthemums have a thought for us in Spain tending to our 40ft palms !

Of course none of your fellow owners are the ones actually having to risk life and limb, we are very lucky to have an 'Alex'.  I'm not entirely sure what Health & Safety would have to say (sorry to be predictable) but certainly the zoo is interested in our exhibit !

Looking like a long tailed monkey Alex regularly tends to the palms around the pool in this way, climbing up and cutting off the lower leaves.
