February has brought its cold weather to the Vega Baja with mention of 'Wind Chill Factors' !! and minus temperatures - it's been quite harsh for us wimps who are now acclimatised to the Spanish warmth.

I'm happy to say though that I am now sitting on my balcony in the heat with the sun beating down, squinting to see the laptop and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. So hopefully we are over the cold weather now and after a few showers usually seen in March or April we should be on our way into another glorious spring and summer.

I guess I'm trying to balance up this weeks email to everyone which contains our latest Forum category: Neighbourhood Watch and the regular alerts that are circulated. It looks a bit doom and gloom as it's mainly news about crime but it is of course important to know what's going on so at the very least we are forewarned.

Ooh the sun has gone behind a cloud - should i just reach for my jumper? ... no need, here comes the sun again.
